A Montreal Children’s Hospital medical resident charged with theft, possession of fentanyl

A medical resident at the Montreal Children’s Hospital was arrested Monday at his place of work after being suspected of being in illegal possession of the opioid fentanyl.

J. Kleiman, 28, appeared at the Montreal courthouse Tuesday and was charged with drug possession and theft of narcotics. He was released after agreeing to respect certain conditions.
