A plea / trial setting hearing in the case of Anne Marie Coke, 36, of Marshall, has been set for Monday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m.

Coke appeared before the Division IV Circuit Court Monday, Jan. 9, facing charges of 134 felony counts of fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance. The instances of oxycodone prescription fraud allegedly occurred between March 2014 and February 2016 with Coke writing the false prescriptions for herself and 12 other individuals. She entered a plea of not guilty on Nov. 28, 2016.

In a related case, on Dec. 12, 2016, a plea / trial setting for Stuart and Natalie Gossett, 32 and 30 respectively, of Marshall, was scheduled for Monday, Jan. 23, at 9 a.m. The Gossetts were allegedly a part of Coke’s operation, and face a combined 37 counts of fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance, to which each pleaded not guilty on Sept. 26, 2016.
