WAYNESBORO, Pa. — A Sykesville, Md., woman is accused of attempting to fill a fraudulent prescription Monday at Rite Aid at 1513 E. Main St. in Waynesboro, the Washington Township (Pa.) Police Department said.

Michelle R. Armagost, 36, was being held Tuesday at the Franklin County (Pa.) Jail on $50,000 bail, court records said.

The pharmacy reported Monday at about 6:20 p.m. that a woman was attempting to pick up a prescription that was reported to police earlier in the day as being fraudulent, according to a police department news release.

Armagost was trying to obtain 160 oxycodone pills under a different name, police said.
