WESTAMPTON – A Delanco woman is accused of using a forged prescription in a bid to get painkillers.

Stephanie Schwarz, 31, was arrested shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday at a CVS pharmacy on Springside Road in Westampton, authorities said.

A pharmacist alerted police after Schwarz allegedly presented a forged prescription for 120 oxycodone pills, according to Westampton police.

Schwarz on Feb. 15 had obtained 90 Xanax pills at the same pharmacy with a prescription that was found to be fraudulent, police alleged.

Schwarz was charged with forgery, fraudulently obtaining prescription medication and attempting to obtain prescription medication by fraud.
