Missing oxycodone pill: At about 8:14 a.m. a person called to report that the day before, a single 10mg oxycodone pill was listed as administered to a patient at the Brookdale Federal Way senior living facility. The reporting party later discovered that the patient was in the hospital at the time and was not present to receive the pill as administered. The reporting party asked the nurse who had listed the pill as administered and the nurse said that because the patient was not at the facility, she had placed the pill in a container to be destroyed. However, the reporting party said she was unable to find the single pill. There were no witnesses and no video surveillance to prove the nurse had stolen the single pill. The nurse in question was subsequently placed on administrative leave. Case is inactive due to no further witness or suspect information.
