The S.C. Department of Corrections arrested a woman who reportedly violated state pharmacy laws by hiding several different drugs from the prison’s pharmacy that was prescribed to the inmates.
S. Turner, a registered nurse at Turbeville Correction Institution, is being charged with seven counts of violating state pharmacy laws.
According to the arrest warrant, Turner concealed 24 tablets of 600mg of Trileptal, 15 tablets of 5mg of Abilify, 13 tablets of 20mg of Celexa, 45 tablets of Prozac, 27 tablets of 10mg Zyprexa, and 132 tablets of Remeron.
All the prescriptions were meant for inmates at the correctional facility.
She was fired after her arrest.
