AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Investigators say they found drugs inside the home of Beverly and Doctor Robert Webbs’ home.

Arrest warrants show investigators were searching the safe in their master bedroom and found seven tablets of Darvocet, a pain reliever. Then, he admitted to investigators he stole the drugs from Doctors Hospital.

We found he works at Doctor’s Hospital as a private contractor under Envision Healthcare. Envision says Dr. Webb was immediately put on administrative leave.

In a statement, Doctors Hospital wrote, “We

[…] are fully supporting law enforcement in their investigation… Above all else, we are committed to improving the lives of our community and protecting those in need, particularly the elderly.”

Right now, investigators are holding Dr. Webb in jail under those drug charges, but investigators say he could face more.
