A 48-year-old hospital employee was charged with stealing from the facility pharmacy over an unidentified period of the previous year, Dover Police announced Wednesday.
According to authorities, Bayhealth Kent General Hospital administrators contacted police about P. Davis’ suspected theft of drugs from the pharmacy in which he worked, and police conducted an investigation. Davis stole several prescription pills while employed there, police said, and he was arrested at his residence around 11 a.m. on November 27, 2018, without incident.
He was charged with possession with intent to deliver prescription pills-Tier IV, and four counts acquiring or obtaining possession of prescription pills through theft. He was released on $72,000 bond.
