ALBION — An Albion woman who lost her job as a nurse for forging prescriptions for painkillers in 2012 pleaded guilty in Orleans County Court to stealing prescriptions from Iroquois Job Corp.

Marcie A. Conlon, 42, will face definite state prison time after she pleaded guilty to attempted forgery as a second felony offender.

Conlon was arrested on a sealed indictment warrant in October after an investigation revealed she stole a prescription from an office at Job Corps in Shelby in April 2015. Conlon forged a student’s name and filled the prescription for painkillers.

Conlon was on probation for a felony DWI by drugs conviction in Orleans in 2014 and a 2012 forgery conviction in Yates County for forging prescriptions for painkillers.

She was working as a nurse at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua at the time and was suspended from practicing as a registered nurse.

She was on probation for that conviction when she crashed her car in Carlton in January 2014, leading to the DWI by drugs charge.

Conlon is scheduled to be sentenced March 6. She faces 18 months to four years in prison.
