A former school nurse in Tennessee has been charged with stealing prescription medications belonging to students.
A grand jury in Campbell County indicted S. Lancaster last week on six counts of obtaining drugs by fraud and five counts of theft, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said in a news release.
The statement said Lancaster, 56, worked as a nurse in the Campbell County school system and allegedly used her position to steal prescriptions belonging to students. The investigation started last December, according to the state agency.
It not known whether Lancaster has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
