Five of your local nurses, are in trouble.

Action News Jax uncovered those nurses held positions of Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and Pharmacists.

All of them busted in just a week, accused of abusing prescription pills. Three are facing emergency suspensions.

Grant Satterlee is a Registered Pharmacist for the State of Florida, but he’s in a lot of trouble and the state just issued an emergency suspension of his license.

In March, health officials say he admitted to stealing Oxycodone tablets, over a two to three year period. The report shows, he also pleaded guilty back in 2001, to stealing more than $100,000 worth of Controlled Substances from University Hospital in Jacksonville.

Kayla Freeman is facing emergency suspension of her nursing certification after she pleaded no contest to Cocaine possession.

Certified Nursing Assistant Brien Morris had his certification suspended, after he entered a guilty plea to selling or making Meth, which is a second degree felony.

Nurse Holly Bowie, is now unable to practice and was ordered to pay thousands in fines, after she was medically diagnosed with severe Opioid Use Disorder.

Nurse Teri Irene Vida, was suspended for alcohol use. She must enter into the Intervention Project for Nurses or IPN program. That program is a recovery program for nurses with drug problems.
