FRIENDSHIP, Wis. (WSAW)– A former Adams County Department of Health and Human Services employee charged with misconduct in office and falsely acting as public official after she’s accused of stealing medication from an elderly patient has been ordered to have no contact with Adams County Health & Human Services and any clients previously assigned to her while employed at Adams County Health & Human Services.

Court documents state Tracy Lynn VonMoos remained active in care taking for a patient, despite leaving her job at health and human services.

An investigation began in April. According to court documents, VonMoos left the county job on March 25, 2016. However, investigators said on April 7 she continued to pick up prescribed medication for a former patient.

According to court documents, investigators said VonMoos replaced the man’s Hydromorphone pills with Tylenol.

VonMoos is free on a $3,000 signature bond.
