Former Albion doctor expected to be sentenced on distribution, fraud charges

ALBION, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A former Albion doctor is set to learn his fate, after admitting he wrote false prescriptions to patients.

Horace Junior Davis is accused of illegally distributing prescription opioids, fraud, and conspiracy charges.

Authorities raided the Calhoun County pharmacy where Davis previously worked earlier this year.

The owner of Park’s Drug Store, in Albion, tells us agents kept records of controlled substances prescribed to patients.

Monday morning, Davis is expected to be sentenced.
