A former Eastern Health employee has been charged for stealing narcotics from Carbonear General Hospital and forging documents.
Eastern Health approached RCMP in July, reporting that 51-year-old C. Hudson had allegedly stolen narcotics and altered the hospital’s records while working as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
The incidents took place between September 2019 and May of this year.
Police followed up with a criminal investigation. As a result, Hudson was arrested and charged with theft, fraud, using a forged document, and falsifying documents.
She is scheduled to appear in provincial court in December.
