COLOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A former Coloma Township Police Officer has been charged after investigators say he stole drugs.
Kraig Mitchell allegedly stole medication from the pill drop off box at the Coloma Township Police Department. He’s also accused of stealing a heroin-fentanyl mixture from the scene of a drug overdose death.
Mitchell is charged with tampering with evidence, obstruction of justice, and several possession offenses.
He is due back in court on March 2nd.
