A Keene dentist whose ability to issue prescriptions for controlled drugs was suspended by the N.H. Board of Dental Examiners in November 2014 was recently sentenced on drug charges in Cheshire County Superior Court.
Dr. Ayman A. Jacobs, 54, of Keene was found guilty of two charges of misdemeanor possession of an unspecified controlled drug from June and October 2014 in Keene. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail, all suspended for four years on condition that he continue drug treatment, and assessed $434 in fees and penalties on each charge.
