OXFORD – An investigation into an employee stealing medicine from a veterinary clinic ended with the arrest of a Batesville man.

Oxford police were called to the Animal Clinic on Feb. 7, following reports that an employee had stolen medication and was selling it online. After investigating the case several days, police arrested Dominique Carrothers, 24, and confiscated more than $1,500 worth of merchandise stolen from the clinic.

He was charged with grand larceny and given a bond of $2,500.
