A nurse switched out and stole a patient’s pain medication at the Tallwoods Care Center in Berkeley, police announced Monday. G. Neglia, of Forked River, replaced the patient’s Vicodin with over-the-counter Tylenol, according to Berkeley authorities.
Neglia, 30, admitted to switching out the drugs, police said. He was charged June 7 with obtaining a prescription legend drug by deception and theft by deception.
He was processed and released pending a court date. The state ombudsman’s office was also advised.
