LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A nurse has been accused of stealing painkillers from a Lincoln hospital.
Court records say 30-year-old Krista Morgan is charged with violating a narcotic drug law. Her attorney didn’t immediately return a call Monday from The Associated Press. Her next hearing is scheduled for May 1.
She’s accused of stealing several bottles of fentanyl citrate from Bryan Health’s West Campus hospital. Fentanyl citrate is an opioid painkiller.
A January inventory check showed the bottles were missing. She’s no longer employed at the hospital.
