BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A Bakersfield nurse accused of writing her own prescriptions pleaded not guilty Wednesday to nine felony counts and one misdemeanor.
Jasmine Hill was arrested Oct. 6.
An investigation by the Department of Consumer Affairs division found Hill allegedly wrote a prescription for herself, then used a physician’s signature stamp, who is a co-worker, to sign the prescription form.
Investigators said Hill also made false entries into her own medical record to make it appear that the physician authorized the prescription.
Hill is not in custody and is due back in court Jan. 17.
