A Peoria pharmacist had his license placed on indefinite probation after he was found impaired on duty.

Peter Shanine, 32, is on indefinite probation for at least the next three years after the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation found he was impaired on duty, diverting controlled substances, and pleading guilty to theft and obtaining substances by fraud in Peoria County Court.

Shanine was also fined $5,000.
