ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A registered nurse at Lovelace Hospital is accused of stealing vials of morphine and fentanyl. Police say they found numerous drugs inside Samuel Harris’s northeast Albuquerque home.
Police decided to search his home after Harris called 911 claiming a woman had shot him. He told police he was trying to get some squatters at a vacant home next door to him arrested when one of them shot him.
After he got out of the hospital, police arrested Harris. He has since been released on his own recognizance but will have to submit to drug tests.
